Eligibility: Edmonton Destination Marketing Hotels’ Edmonton’s Best Hotels “Rewards Buyer survey draw” (“Draw”) is open only to legal residents of Canada who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry, except employees, officers, and directors of Edmonton Destination Marketing Hotels Ltd. (“Sponsor”), its subsidiaries, affiliated companies, sales representatives, advertising, sales promotions and judging agencies, draw administrator (“Administrator”) webmasters/suppliers, and their respective immediate family members (spouse and children) or household members (whether or not related). The Draw is subject to all applicable provincial, territorial, municipal, and local laws and regulations and is void outside Canada. Participation constitutes the entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to these Official Rules and Sponsor’s and Administrator’s decisions, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Draw. Winning a prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein.

Draw Period: The draw will run from November 7, 2023 (12:01 AM Mountain Time) through November 30, 2023 (11:45 PM Mountain Time). The winner will be notified no later than December 1, 2023, and will have until December 2, 2023 (24 hours) to claim their prize.
Prize details and Terms and Conditions:
Incidental expenses and all other costs and expenses not explicitly listed as part of a prize in these Official Rules and which may be associated with the award, acceptance, receipt, and use of all or any portion of the awarded prize are solely the responsibility of the winner.

How to Enter: The Draw is only open to individuals who have booked a hotel stay through Edmonton’s Best Hotels website. Participants can enter the Draw by completing the Rewards buyer survey. The survey was by invitation only, distributed to 1,2, 3, Pick Your Own Rewards purchasers.
Entry Requirements: Entrants must have a valid email address to enter. The entrant must provide her/his first and last name, city of residence, and be 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.
Odds of Winning: The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible completed surveys received.
Prize Award Procedures: The potential winner is subject to verification before any prize is awarded. The potential winner will be notified by the Sponsor or Administrator through the email address provided at the time of registration and will be required to respond to that email with their complete mailing address and date of birth within 24 hours of email notification or the prize will be forfeited, and one secondary potential prize winner will be selected. Potential winners must execute and return an affidavit of eligibility and liability/publicity release (where permitted) within 24 hours of the request. Failure to comply will result in disqualification, and the prize will not be awarded. If any Prize or Prize-related communication is returned as undeliverable, the Prize will be forfeited. The sponsor is not responsible for any change of Facebook account, mailing address, e-mail address, and/or telephone number of entrants. Any unclaimed or undeliverable Prize will not be awarded. Prizes are non-transferable. No cash redemptions or substitutions are permitted except by the Sponsor, who may substitute a prize of equal or more excellent value. The winner cannot have won any draws or contests from Edmonton’s Best Hotels in the last 18 months.
General Conditions: By entering the Draw, each entrant agrees (a) to release, indemnify and hold harmless Sponsor and its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and Contest agencies, Administrator, and all of their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents from any and all liability, for any damages, injuries or losses of any kind to person(s), including death, or property, arising directly or indirectly from the acceptance, possession, misuse or use of a prize or his/her participation in the Draw or any Draw-related activity; and (b) to grant (and to confirm such grant in writing promptly upon request) to Sponsor and those acting under Sponsor’s authority the right to the use of his/her name, photograph, likeness, voice, image, statements and biographical information at any time or times for advertising, trade, publicity and draw purposes in any media now known or hereafter discovered, worldwide and on the World Wide Web, without review, notification, approval or additional compensation, unless prohibited by law. All taxes on prizes, if any, are solely the responsibility of the winners. All federal, provincial, and local laws and regulations apply. By entering, each entrant agrees that all issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation, and enforceability of these Official Rules, the entrant’s rights, and obligations, or the rights and obligations of the Sponsor in connection with the draw, will be governed by, and construed per, the laws of the Province of Alberta, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules. By entering, each entrant consents to the jurisdiction and venue of the federal, provincial, and local courts in Edmonton, AB.
Limitations of Liability: Neither Sponsor nor its agencies are responsible for lost, interrupted, or unavailable satellite, network, server, Internet Service Provider (ISP), website or other connections availability, accessibility or traffic congestion, miscommunication, or failed computer, network, telephone, satellite, or cable hardware, software or lines, or technical failure, or jumbled, scrambled, delayed, or misdirected transmissions, or computer hardware or software malfunctions, failures or difficulties, or other errors of any kind whether human, mechanical, electronic or network, or the incorrect or inaccurate capture of Entry or other information or the failure to capture, or loss of, any such information.
Neither Sponsor nor its agencies are responsible for any incorrect information, whether caused by website users or by any equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Draw, and assume no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, or delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or tampering with or hacking of the website. Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual it finds may be tampering with the entry process or operation of the Draw or website, may be acting in violation of the terms of the website or these Official Rules, or may be acting in a non-sportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to threaten, abuse or harass any other person. Neither the Sponsor nor its agencies are responsible for injury or damage to the entrant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participating in the Draw or downloading or copying materials from or using the website. If, for any reason, the Draw is not capable of running as planned because of infection by computer viruses, worms, bugs, tampering, hacking, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes which, in the sole opinion of the Sponsor, corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Draw, or if due to any technical, production or other error, more prizes are claimed or awarded than are described in these Official Rules, Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Draw, and randomly select winners from entries received before action is taken, or as otherwise deemed fair and equitable by Sponsor. No more than the number of prizes stated in these Official Rules will be awarded. Any attempt to deliberately damage any website or undermine the legitimate operation of the Draw is unlawful and subject to legal action by the Sponsor or its agents.

Winners List: The winner will be contacted directly by Edmonton’s Best Hotels. You can request the winner’s name by sending a self-addressed, stamped envelope with proper postage to Edmonton Destination Marketing Hotels Ltd., 2707 Ellwood Drive SW, Edmonton, AB, T6X 0P7. Ensure you note which Draw you’d like to receive the Winners name. Requests must be received within six months of the end date of the Draw in question.
